Settling In

Abigail at 3 and a 1/2 months
Getting the tiniest bit of baby chub

And lots of adorable dimples

Oh yeah, that is a Rugg baby

Aaron and Alexander rediscovering train tracks

Aaron and Nate had 2 chess lessons this week

Aaron read the Fellowship of the Ring in 3 days!

Aaron's white's best move chess puzzle

Aaron imagining Uncle Ben solving his chess puzzle in an hour in a hot air balloon

Dear Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins,

The house is back to normal. Andrew and Alexander are playing the same games. The water filter is setup. I finished  all my jobs yesterday.

Love,
Aaron

Abigail adores abba

Abigail is very expressive now

Thoughtful

Spunky

Happy

Just cute

Tongue

Abigail doing Reading cards

More Abigail fashion show...
Thanks again to the California Cousins for lots of cute clothes!!!

Abigail doing a push up

All right what do you think?
Here is baby Anna doing a baby push up, does it look like Abigail?
More than any other Caucasian baby would?

Putting toys into her mouth

Watch out...

I can roll!!!

Whoa! What was that?

I like blocks

I can sit for a second

Uh-oh

Plop!

Alexander drew a picture of himself blasting rainbows with light saber guns.
This is not (yet anyway) princess pony rainbow island folks.

But this looks familiar....

Big brother photobomb

Take two

Andrew adores Abigail.

There is also a lot of, "Andrew stop getting distracted by the pretty girl"
around here now...

Look out Abigail double brother affection incoming!
Good thing Daddy can save you.

Andrew has one middle tooth right now

Liking this bit of clean white space in the house
as we get things back to normal around here.

Also liking the new blender we brought made it in working order

And the new smoothie cups and the raspberries the boys picked!

Like this view from the front door

Family of six!

Making bread

A book I read this week said "I want to make bread, or at least find time to toast it."
I liked the season of being able to buy premade bread
with better ingredients than we can even get individually here.
But I am also liking this season of having space in life to make bread with a "helper."

Picnic time!
(However, Aaron said why are we eating on the floor instead of the table.
We're already getting a kid so big that he is no longer impressed with floor picnics. Sniff!)

Sleeping baby

With each baby we have I just want to sit and soak in the sweetness even more than the last

Cue Nicole Nordeman's "Slow Down"

Or Trace Adkin's "You're Gonna Miss This"

And a good mommy cry

Sometimes my brothers give me swords!
At least this one is soft.

This story is dedicated to Grandpa Jeff

Invisible Andrew blowing up the bad guys

This blanket is mine! Grrrr...
