Start of our thankful tree this year

A lot to be thankful for for sure.
And we've just started writing on the leaves!

In case you've ever wondered...
It is very possible to eat birthday cake and ice cream with chopsticks!

Also pumpkin cake is a great birthday cake this time of year.
At least we think so.

Geography experiment:
observing the aging of rubber-bands in different environments

Our friends gave us the rest of the thin sliced beef and we made it into
"Italian Beef Sandwiches"

Kids helping to make apple pie bars

Our pumpkin family

Processing two different pumpkins...
with very different colors and textures.

Pumpkin soup and ham and cheese sandwiches

Science Experiment:
Increasing mass increases momentum

First set up that rolling the ping pong balls at didn't completely knock down

But the shooter marble still sure blew it up!
Also, boys can hurl a ping pong ball much harder than I think
the writers of our science book ever imagined possible.

Special father daughter time after dinner

This was the thin sliced beef in soup cooked with mint.
Not a spice we using pair it with but good.
Aaron (aka Mr. Mint) especially liked it.

Aaron drew Thunderbolt defeating the Iberon King
from Elenor's Adventures all on his own.
One of his more detailed artistic endeavors.

TUNA SALAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CAN I LICK THE CAN???????????????????

Otherwise known as how to make my kids ridiculously happy at lunchtime

So we finally found paper towels available online.
We asked Alexander if he knew what this was...
????
"Big toilet paper?"
Since they use toilet paper instead of paper towels and napkins,
I think his guess was as good as anyone else around here would have had.
